Recently we partnered with Mismo Systems for a power BI development project to analyse the data of the manufacturing operations from our plants spread across several continents. We decided to move our users to AWS Workspaces during this time of the pandemic, so that, we can have unhindered access to our work with the highest level of security. Mismo Systems helped us explore various leading Virtual Desktop platforms and in making the crucial decision of choosing AWS WorkSpaces as our way forward.
We were using google email services and wanted to move to Microsoft Office-365. The transition journey was challenging as the mailboxes were huge in size critical, and adoption of SharePoint, One Drive and Teams was the success criteria. We were running on prem Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) environment with a legacy operating system. We also had a business requirement to rename the domain name.
